Goggle Care & Instructions

 

 Keeping your goggles in top condition makes a massive difference to comfort, vision and durability. This guide covers everything you need to know, from cleaning and lens care to full assembly and troubleshooting. Follow the steps below to get the best performance out of your Throttle Vision goggles.

 

Cleaning Instructions

Hand Wash Only Always clean your goggles by hand. Do not put them in a washing machine or use high‑pressure water, as this can damage the foam, lens coating and frame.

Use Mild Soap & Warm Water Rinse off mud and dirt using warm water. If needed, use a small amount of mild soap on the frame and strap. Avoid scrubbing the foam aggressively.

Lens Cleaning Only clean the lens using a microfibre cloth and a proper lens cleaner. Never use paper towels, clothing, or anything abrasive, these will scratch the lens and damage the anti‑fog coating.

No Harsh Chemicals Avoid window cleaner, alcohol wipes, brake cleaner, degreasers, or any solvent‑based products. These will strip coatings and cause fogging or cloudiness.

Drying Let your goggles air‑dry naturally. Do not use a hairdryer or radiator, as heat can warp the frame and damage the foam.

Foam Care If the foam is sweaty or muddy, rinse gently with warm water and squeeze lightly, do not twist or wring it out. Allow it to fully air‑dry before storing.

 

 

Lens Removal & Installation (SnapLock System)

Lens Removal Your goggles use a SnapLock clip on each side of the frame.

  1. Hold the goggles firmly.

  2. Push both SnapLock clips outwards (away from the frame).

  3. Once both clips release, gently push the lens forward and it will pop out.

  4. Lift the lens away from the frame.

 

Lens Installation

  1. Line the lens up with the groove on each side of the frame.

  2. Make sure the lens sits correctly in both side grooves before clipping.

  3. Press the lens into the frame.

  4. Push each SnapLock clip inwards until it clicks and locks the lens securely.

  5. Check all edges to make sure the lens is fully seated.

Outrigger & Nose Guard Installation

Outriggers The outriggers are designed to clip directly into the grooves on each side of the frame.

  1. Line the outrigger up with the groove.

  2. Push firmly until it clicks into place.

  3. To remove, pull gently from the outer edge and the clip will release.

Nose Guard The nose guard attaches the same way — using the built‑in grooves on the frame.

  1. Align the tabs on the nose guard with the slots on the frame.

  2. Push until you feel it click securely.

  3. To remove, pull from the top centre and lift it away from the frame.

Strap Installation

Strap Attachment The strap connects directly to the outriggers using the built‑in hook system.

  1. Line the end of the strap up with the gap on the outrigger.

  2. Slide the strap tab into the gap until it hooks securely.

  3. Repeat on the other side, making sure the strap sits flat and isn’t twisted.

  4. Adjust the tension evenly on both sides for a comfortable fit.

Strap Removal

  1. Hold the outrigger firmly.

  2. Slide the strap tab out of the gap on the outrigger.

  3. Repeat on the other side.

Foam & Frame Separation

Foam Removal The foam can be removed, but it is not recommended. It is designed to stay attached to the frame, and removing it is difficult and may damage the adhesive. Foam removal is not needed for normal cleaning or maintenance.
